Albany Skip4Health Hanoverpark

Play2Think and Chrysalis Academy introduced 7 primary schools in Hanoverpark (Mitchells plain - Cape Town) to the Albany Skip4Health program during the week 21 May - 26May. It was highly successful and on the 26th May the schools competed against each other. 138 jumpers participated and they ranged from grade 3 to 7. Albany bakeries ensured that the stomachs were taken care of - and with a volunteer team like Chrysalis is was all smooth sailing, thanks Me Diedericks; Mr. Ruben Kotzee; Jerome; Bandtino; Kenneth and Lelani who were the driving force. Western Cape Boys Jumps in Gobabis Namibie

Thank you to Hennie van Niekerk (part of the organizing committee of the Gobabis "Vleis Fees")who decided to imported the Rope Skippers from the Western Cape to Namibie for his "vleis fees". During the festival Sibusiso; Masixole and Nicholas had the opportunity to share the stage with other artists and after performing were swamped by children interested to learn a few tricks with a rope. This led of course to small teaching sessions. We hope that this sparked something special in Gobabis and that rope skipping in Namibie will grow.
