Thank you to Hennie van Niekerk (part of the organizing committee of the Gobabis "Vleis Fees")who decided to imported the Rope Skippers from the Western Cape to Namibie for his "vleis fees". During the festival Sibusiso; Masixole and Nicholas had the opportunity to share the stage with other artists and after performing were swamped by children interested to learn a few tricks with a rope. This led of course to small teaching sessions. We hope that this sparked something special in Gobabis and that rope skipping in Namibie will grow.
The Disney Channel Movie "Jump in" was launched in South Africa on the 19 April 2007- and Kagisho; Eric; Jane and Arusha from Thaba Nchu travelled all the way to JHB to do a display at the Melrose Arch Hotel. Thank you to Taryn Fritz Public Relations who made it possible
